I am pleased to be able to offer online booking.

For employment matters, which typically involve summary advice as to the rights of an employee or employer on terminations, contractual matters, and human rights matters, I charge $275 including tax for a one hour consultation. Where basic drafting or client follow ups are required, I will often include this in the initial consult fee. If your matter requires additional services or representation, I will work with you to develop a cost-effective plan to advance your matter.

For new client inquiries involving civil litigation matters, personal injury, or disability insurance, it is important that I speak with you briefly on the phone in order to determine the next steps and what the anticipated fees might be going forward. If you are seeking advice on one of these matters, please book a free 15 minute phone consultation.

If you are an existing client, you can use the online form to book an in-office, phone, or video call for your matter.

For new client matters, information sent through this form may not be confidential, and that using this form to book a meeting does not establish a lawyer-client relationship. The lawyer or law firm with whom you are booking is not responsible for any time-sensitive information or requests submitted through this form.

Prior to booking:

  1. Ensure that you are able to send to me scanned copies or photos of two pieces of ID

  2. Ensure that you can make available to me in electronic format (.pdf is preferred) all relevant documents, such as an employment contract or termination letter.

Please note:

Prior to our meeting we will need you to provide the names of all parties involved in your matter. If the meeting cannot proceed due to a conflict of interest, we will cancel the meeting and notify you. For confidentiality reasons, we will not be able to tell you the nature of the conflict.

Pricing

My hourly rate is $275.

I offer flexible pricing and fee structures depending on the nature of the matter, and offer flat rate consultations on most employment matters.

Flat rate $225+ tax

For Employees or Employers seeking advice on matters relating to the employment relationship, including terminations, severance packages, and human rights matters. In many cases, a one hour consultation is enough time to address the parties’ legal rights and avenues of recourse. Where additional services or representation are required, I will work with you to develop a cost-effective plan to address your needs.

Contingency Fee Matters

Depending on the nature of your case, I may be able to handle your file on a contingency fee basis. A contingency fee agreement is where the lawyer agrees to work for a percentage of the amount recovered on your behalf. The advantage to these agreements is that the client does not have to pay the lawyer for services unless the matter is resolved in their favour.
